AFDD – Arc fault detection devices are currently very expensive however the price should drop soon with mass roll out. Buy them then.

Yes. We only use large, recognised companies to carry out our payment facilities. Our card readers are issued by Square & SumUp who are authorized by the FCA.

Yes. We only install premium ten year lithium ion detectors and all the devices we supply are RF interlinked. This means if one device is triggered all sirens within the system will sound at the same time.

Unfortunately at the moment you have to book your electricians appointments one by one. We are working on this and you should see an update to the site in the near future.

No, all of our electricians are fully trained in house and by electric shower manufacturers to handle the plumbing side of electric shower installation

Yes. We do not carry electric radiators due there size. We will install any electric radiator of your choice but advise you to pick one you prefer.

Do you conceal the TV cables?2020-10-26T15:00:41+00:00

Yes. We carry curved trunking in all our vehicles. The trunking can be decorated over when we are finished. If you would like cables embedded into your wall we can also do this for you however please remember you may need a plasterer afterwards.

How do I know if my fuseboard needs upgrading?2020-10-26T14:59:38+00:00

Any visible damage is usually the easiest way to determine if your fuseboard has seen better days however there is a lot of things you cannot see. We advise having your home electrics checked first before commencing with any upgrades.

An EICR will generally take two to three hours to carry out dependant on the size of your home and how many circuits are on the fuseboard or fuseboards.

We only hold Triton electric showers in stock as we believe they are the best on the market.

We only try and use the very best manufacturer’s as we don’t won’t to be spending time visiting properties twice. Companies like Hager, Schneider, Triton and MK are amongst our frequently used manufacturers.

We carry a good selection of sockets, lightswitches and lights. Pick from white, metal and plastic.

What’s the benefit of a hive thermotat?2020-10-26T15:00:07+00:00

Hive thermostats give you full control over your homes heating system. Control things such as temperature, heating times and turn your heating on or off when you are out and about. Add on radiator valves for zoning different temperatures in individual rooms.

Always start with an EICR otherwise known as an electrical installation condition report. This gives you an in depth look at the current condition of your homes electrics Much like an MOT for your car.

Why do I need my home electrics tested?2020-10-26T15:01:16+00:00

You need to get your home electrics tested because after time the components within its start to fail. Examples of this are:

  1. The copper in the cable starts to become brittle and becomes poor at conducting electricity which may lead to heat build up and then fire.
  2. Components such as MCB’s in your fuseboard become old and stop functioning as they once did leading to increased fire risk.
  3. Alterations. You just don’t know what the previous owner has done to your electrics. A simple thing like under sizing cable can be a hug fire risk. think for example if a plumber undersized his pipe, the water pressure would eventually lead to a pipe bursting. in the case of cable the excess pressure is dissipated as heat eventually making the PVC sheaf brittle and increasing the risk of electric shock.
  4. Enhanced Safety. New electrical installations come with the most up to date electrical safety features such as RCD’s and surge protection. These features could be the difference between getting an electric shock or not.
